Perth’s northern suburbs are amongst the fasted growing urban areas in Australia, and Currambine is part of this growth. With the goal of providing the highest quality of martial arts instruction to Currambine and surrounding suburbs, Premier Martial Arts and Fitness Academy opened in Clarkson in 2009. In 2015 Premier Academy moved to other side of Boranup Avenue and into Western Australia’s largest purpose-built institute of martial arts.

The vision of Premier Martial Arts and Fitness Academy is to inspire and excite the residents of Perth’s northern suburbs such as Currambine through the martial arts and at the same time instill the life skills and character of a true martial artist while upholding important values like courtesy, patience, respect, self-control, integrity and discipline. Premier Academy helps students from Currambine develop perseverance, which is a non-quitting spirit to overcome life’s obstacles as well as self-discipline, high self-esteem, a spirit of constant improvement and an attitude that refuses to give up.

Students come to us from Currambine and nearby suburbs in ages ranging from 4 to 74. Some students are in shape, while others are overweight. Some come for self-defense, fitness and others for fun. The instructors realise that martial arts training can overwhelm you, so we treat each person equally and train you to the best of your own ability and potential. A student is never compared to anyone else. At Premier Academy our instructors are there to guide, instruct, and motivate Currambine people from all walks of life to be the best that they can be. We develop healthy children with healthy minds, so they have the energy and fitness to be leaders and success at life’s challenges. Martial Arts Classes for Every Currambine Resident

Premier Martial Arts and Fitness Academy is open Monday to Sunday and runs over 150 classes per week (view our timetable) for the residents of Currambine. Our classes are divided into age groups as well as beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. You don’t have to be in shape and there is no prior experience necessary. If you would like to experience the excitement and challenge of Premier Martial Arts, we invite all Currambine residents to come in and visit our school to begin your Introductory Martial Arts Course. You will have the opportunity to speak with the instructors and meet our friendly and professional staff. Through this introductory course, you or your child will get a first-hand understanding of the excitement, energy, empowerment, and life changing benefits of our Academy.

Premier Martial Arts and Fitness Academy – Western Australia’s leading institute of martial arts – is conveniently located in Perth’s northern suburbs, providing excellence in martial arts classes for all ages to the suburbs of Currambine, Clarkson, Mindarie, Butler, Connolly, Kinross, Merriwa, Ridgewood, Alkimos, Quinns Rocks, Jindalee, Burns Beach, Iluka, Ocean Reef, Joondalup, Carramar and Banksia Grove.
