Gradings moved to next week!

Due to the ever changing situation with the current COVID19 (novel corona virus) outbreak, and with the best interests of students in mind, we have made the decision to move our gradings forward by two weeks.

Gradings will now begin next Monday (March 23), and continue on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday (March 29). Sunday March 29 will be our Black Belt Gradings. The new times are on the attached poster, which is on display at the Academy and also on our Facebook page and website.

Attendance Requirements for Grading As the grading are being brought forward we have adjusted the number of classes required to be considered for grading. If you will be short by just a few classes, we will be running make-up gradings every Saturday starting April 4 to allow for this. If you are more than two weeks worth of classes (ie 6 or more classes) short of the requirements then you will need to wait for the next gradings in August.

Registering for Grading You are still required to register, and pay, for grading online at our website – . This must be done at least 24 hours before your grading day and time. If you have any issues with this, please talk to Reception ASAP.

Spectators at Grading Due to the social distancing guidelines issued by the Federal Government we will only be allowing one spectator per student at each grading. This applies to parents/guardians and siblings and will be strictly applied. Following each grading, we ask that all students and parents leave the Academy in a timely manner to allow us to prepare for the next group.
