MASTER INSTRUCTOR AND DIRECTOR OF PREMIER MARTIAL ARTS AND FITNESS ACADEMY
Master Jovanov is has been training for over 25 years in the martial arts. He is 7th Dan Master Black Belt, certified by the Kukkiwon – the governing body for Taekwondo in Korea. He has been a fulltime martial arts instructor since 1994, starting in community halls and schools before moving onto to his first full-time school in Joondalup.
Zlatan his real name, but most know him is Zak, is a NCAS-qualified coach, WAFAC accredited Coach, a former State coach and has coached many of his students to winning performances at State, National and International competitions and has lived and trained overseas on many occasions with world champions and great martial artists in many different styles. He is well-known and respected throughout the martial arts community for both the quality of his instruction and the students he produces – look no further than Premier Martial Arts and Fitness Academy’s other instructors to see evidence of this.
Mr Jovanov is a committed family man with three young children. From migrating to Australia, unable to speak a word of English, at the age of 13 to co-owning his first martial arts school by the age of 18, he is in all aspects an inspiration to those around him. He is very proud of the great team of inspirational instructors the Academy has developed, all training together under the same roof for decades some who have started training with Mr Jovanov as young as 4 years old now going on into their 30’s. Premier Academy is more than just a Martial Arts Club for Master Jovanov its a “FAMILY”.
