Freestyle Martial Arts for ages 18 – 83

Our Adults Freestyle Martial Arts program will teach you a street-wise martial art, in classes where students aged 18-83 train together in a high energy, exciting and dynamic environment. Premier Academy’s Freestyle Martial Arts curriculum will:

  • teach you to use your whole body to defend yourself using techniques and skills from a range of different martials such as Taekwondo, Boxing, Kick Boxing and BJJ-Grappling
  • enable you to rapidly improve your fitness, conditioning, muscle development and flexibility
  • improve your confidence and gain the mental strength to help you deal with life’s challenges
  • be delivered by highly trained and experienced instructors who will guide you through your martial arts journey

Group Fitness and Pilates

Get in the best shape of your life!

Our Group Fitness classes are designed to get you in the best shape of your life by rapidly improving your fitness, conditioning, strength, muscle tone, flexibility, posture and balance! This is done through intense classes that always focus on the correct technique in order to help you improve your concentration, physical coordination, balance and increase your body awareness. Our Group Fitness classes are also perfect for stress management and relaxation!

Our Academy’s Pilates classes are conducted by fully qualified instructors who will not only get your core strong and improve your flexibility, but also teach you the correct techniques for movement, balance, posture, and breathing. Each of our members is treated individually, and is pushed to the best of their own ability and potential. You are never compared to anyone else. Our instructors will guide and motivate you to be the best that you can be!

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Grappling for ages 18 – 83

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a grappling-based martial art whose central theme is the skill of controlling a resisting opponent in ways that force that oppponent to submit. Due to the fact that control is generally easier on the ground than in a standing position, much of the technique of BJJ is centered round the skill of taking an opponent down to the ground and wrestling for dominant control positions from where the opponent can be rendered harmless. BJJ techniques feature heavily in Premier’s Freestyle Martial Arts curriculum, but for students that want to expand on their knowledge of the “ground game” we offer a separate Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program. This program is taught by expert instructors, and students who train regularly will also be eligible to grade in this martial art.

Premier Academy’s Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes are available to all students in the Adult Freestyle Martial Arts programs.
